It’s cold out there and more to come. Shelters and Rescue Organization cannot provide the heat that is needed to keep concrete floors warm and the animals suffer.
It is my opinion that these poor animals have suffered enough; they do not need to have the added stress of being cold.
Kriser's Natural Pet food Store and Operation Blankets of Love know that the winter months can be particularly tough on animals in need, even in Los Angeles.
Both organizations are joining forces and hope to bring comfort during a time when it is needed the most.
Starting this month and throughout 2012, Kriser’s Studio City store will be a drop-off location for comfort supplies such as blankets, towels and other new or gently used pet related items for animals in need.
With their on going efforts, let’s reach out and help just one animal.
Who does not have an extra blanket or towel?
And if you do not live in the area where they are located, you can still locate your local shelter and drop off a blanket or towel. They need them everywhere.

Operation Blankets of Love is an award-winning non-profit public charity that collects transports and recycles used and new pet-related items to comfort stray, sick, neglected and abused animals in shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries and foster groups.
