Donald Trump called in to the Howard Stern Show Wednesday morning and commented on the Miss Delaware Teen USA scandal.
The recent title winner Melissa King resigned her crown on Tuesday after a tape of her in an amateur adult film appeared on a website called GirlsDoPorn.com. See a non-graphic clip from the tape here
"We had to tell her to get a letter of resignation very quickly," Trump told Stern.
Stern challenged the notion that King absolutely had to give up her title, citing household names like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton who broke into Hollywood with sex their own leaked sex tapes.
King initially denied it was her in the tape, but resigned shortly afterwards.
"If she hadn't resigned, what would you have done? Would you have fired her?" asked Stern.

King was in foster care from age 12 on, and vowed to help others in the system as part of her charity platform. Since the scandal broke, she has been coping by retweeting Bible quotes and supportive posts from others on her Twitter account.
