Donald Trump is expecting big cash from Bill Maher. Looking to even the score after a fairly rude joke was leveled at the real estate mogul, the HBO talk show host should expect that Trump is going to make his words heard around the world. On Monday Donald Trump announced he is suing Bill Maher during an interview with Fox & Friends on Monday.
“He promised me $5 million for charity if I provided certain information," said Donald Trump on the segment on Monday for Fox & Friends. "Well, I provided the information, he didn’t pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity.”
In question is a joke Bill Maher shared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno regarding giving a charity $5 million bucks if Donald Trump could prove he wasn't the “spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.” Apparently Trump took the joke at face value and provided documentation that he was 100% human. Now Donald Trump expects Bill Maher to cough up the five million for a charity.
Will this really go to court? Well, if it did there is a chance Trump could win as he could claim the message wasn't clearly stated as a joke. If a judge agreed that means Bill Maher would be paying five million for a silly joke.
