Donald Trump has slammed the GOP. According to a report dated Jan. 2, Donald Trump criticized the Republicans for the way they handled the fiscal cliff deal.
NewsTrackIndia also reported on Jan. 2 that Donald Trump stated that the Republicans “may be the worst negotiators in history.” The Donald is clearly unhappy about the compromise that legislatures reached concerning the fiscal cliff.
Vice-President Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell lead the senators to the compromise that raised taxes and did little, if anything, to cut spending. The Republicans were hoping for more cuts in spending. According to Donald Trump the “Republicans got nothing” in the deal that kept America from jumping off the fiscal cliff.
Donald Trump is probably not the only Republican unhappy with the deal. Many Oklahoma residents will not be happy to learn that all but one of their Congress members voted in favor of the fiscal cliff deal. Only James Lankford, a Republican, voted against the compromise. John Sullivan, Dan Boren, Frank Lucas and Tom Cole all voted for the fiscal cliff deal. Dan Boren is the only Democrat Congress member from Oklahoma.
