Donald Trump shifts his line of attack on Obama: Now release your college files

The White House finally released President Obama's long-form birth certificate today. There was nothing surprising on the birth certificate, leaving everyone to wonder why he didn't just release it three years ago.

The decision to release the document was no doubt due to the great amount of attention potential Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has brought to the issue in recent weeks. Trump said today that he is "really honored" and "really proud" to have "played a really big role in hopefully, hopefully, getting rid of this [birth certificate] issue."

Trump, at a press conference this morning in New Hampshire, switched gears and focused on Obama's college records instead. "I heard at Columbia [University], he wasn't a very good student. He then gets Harvard. How do you get into Harvard if you're not a good student? Now, maybe that's right or maybe it's wrong. But I don't know why he doesn't release his records."

Will Trump keep hammering away on the issue of Obama's college transcripts? If he does, will Obama cave again and end up releasing those records as well? Are there any surprises to be found? The 2012 presidential election campaign has already begun, and it looks to be a pretty interesting ride.
