Donald Trump shares Regis and Kelly's final week, as NBC announces new season

Regis Philbin, host of 'Live with Regis and Kelly', formerly 'The Morning Show', 'Live with Regis' and the most famous, 'Live with Regis and Kathie Lee', will spend his final mornings in the front of the camera this week. After 3 decades on this show, Philbin will be 'moving on'.

Philbin had this to say of his last days, according to

"Everybody says to me, 'Oh, you're retiring,'" notes Philbin, who then erupts: "I'm NOT retiiiiring! I'm MOVING ON!"

Just as NBC announces that 'The Celebrity Apprentice' will return in 2012, Donald Trump will be on 'LIVE with Regis and Kelly' to help celebrate his FINAL week. The first time Trump was on the show with Regis was May 1989.

Bret Michaels (2010 winner of 'The Celebrity Apprentice') will perform live on the show this week, also.

Trump and Philbin have been in the spotlight forever, appearing together at charity events and even baseball games. They were seen together at the Yankees home opener at Yankee Stadium on April 13, 2010. According to the interview on November 15, Regis and Donald said Yankee Stadium is where they first met.

  • This is Regis' final morning as host of "LIVE." This episode is a moving hour-long tribute, with many surprises for Regis and the audience. In addition, Regis will reflect on his tenure with the popular morning program, and share his thoughts as he moves on to new show business adventures.
