Donald Trump links autism to vaccination on Twitter

On March 30, the International Business Times reported that real estate mogul and Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump stirred the autism-vaccination debate on Twitter by revealing his view that autism is due to high vaccination dosage.

Trump's tweets were a reaction to a new report on the rise of autism. The report indicated a 30 percent increase in the last two years of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children in America. The report was revealed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Trump wrote, "Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, and doesn't feel good and changes - AUTISM. Many such cases!" Trump also wrote, "With autism being way up, what do we have to lose by having doctors give small dose vaccines vs. big pump doses into those tiny bodies?

He also said that if he was President he would make sure small children get proper vaccination and not one-time massive vaccines.

This is not the first time that Trump has publicly linked autism to vaccination. In 2012, he maintained the same view in a Fox News interview.
