Donald Trump is a cruel cheapskate

It is impossible to have a true belief system without providing for others. It doesn’t matter if Jesus or Allah or Buddha has put forth the tenets of the religion, all include charity.

And, conversely, one cannot donate and do good works without the underpinnings of faith. To care about other people demonstrates an awareness of a mission larger than the small life.

Which brings the discussion to Donald Trump. Blah, blah, blah Bill Mahler, orangutan, blah, blah, lawsuit, $5 million dollars.

If anyone missed this story, click through on the above link to get caught up. It is becoming more boring in each iteration.

Oh Donald. You haven’t really cared about charity. How does this column know? Because you really don’t proffer much cash. There is nothing wrong with being a cheapskate, a loudmouth and a businessman who is usually in financial trouble. It’s the mugging for the cameras that gets old.

And Fox and Friends. Shame on you for bringing back this circus act after his ridiculous stunt inre charity and the President. Again, click through for elucidation.

Michael Bloomberg just donated 350 million dollars to Johns Hopkins University. The total money he has given his alma mater is more than a billion dollars. By the way, the most recent donation barely caused a ripple in the news media. Perhaps a Kardashian did something.

The point is not to fawn over philanthropists but pit them against each other, hoping the next gift will be bigger.

Because no one built anything themselves. We are all connected. Those who have wealth should give to those who don’t. Sharing power would be nice also. Just saying.

Ted Turner donated a billion dollars around 15 years ago. Back when it was real money. Kidding- old joke.

During a ten-year period, Donald donated 3.7 million dollars to his own foundation. A total of $6.7 million over two decades.

So, why is Trump suing Maher for a mere 5 million? Donate it yourself Donald and then sit on your hands for the next twenty years.
