Donald Trump declares Twitter irrelevant after hacked Lil Wayne lyric tweet

Another celebrity hack occurred on Twitter on Thursday, and the account in question was, according to its owner, "seriously hacked" (as opposed to unseriously). Donald Trump was the celebrity who saw his account hacked, and it was done musically, too.

It was a fairly typical day on Twitter for Donald Trump. Examples of actual Trump tweets were:

Republicans must be careful with immigration—don’t give our country away.

and

If you think we have a problem with Social Security and Medicare now, try taking in millions of new citizens all at once.

Then, a rather strange tweet appeared. It would have been fine coming from Lil Wayne, but from Trump? It said:

These hoes think they classy, well that's the class I'm skippen

For those unaware, that is Lil Wayne's verse from the will.i.am song "Scream & Shout."

Trump quickly let his followers know that he wasn't quite that hip. He regained control of the account, and tweeted:

My Twitter has been seriously hacked--- and we are looking for the perpetrators.

He then switched to something more mundane: an advertisement for "All-Star Apprentice"

Only 10 more days until the premiere of All-Star @ApprenticeNBC. On March 3rd at 9PM EST @NBC the fireworks return to the Board Room!

Trump then declared Twitter was destined for irrelevance:

Twitter will soon be irrelevant if lowlifes are so easily able to hack into accounts.

Burger King might agree with Trump. Last weekend, the fast-food giant saw its account hacked to look at though it had been acquired by McDonald's.
