Donald Trump and the orangutan

Donald Trump, who never met a television camera he did not love and then proceed to verbally vomit in front of same, is suing comedian Bill Maher.

Okay Christians, this contretemps is reminiscent of Darwin. The story relates to the church reviled theory that man is not the ultimate progeny from a couple in the Garden of Eden, but through evolution, homo sapiens descended from the ape species. Or in this specific case, a woman and an orangutan having a child. Sort of Darwin on speed.

Maher, probably exhausted at the non-ending spittle of hate and nonsense coming from Trump, did a very funny bit comparing this man to that simian.

In Maher’s defense, there are striking similarities. Not only the hair color and styling, but also the same brutish “take what’s mine” je ne sais quoi quality that each mammal possess.

Maher stated he would pay 5 million dollars, riffing off Trump’s measly charitable offering before the Presidential election, if the often-bankrupt developer could prove his father was not an orangutan.

Okay, Trump produced a birth certificate that says his father is Fred.

Well, like the diehard racists who still doubt the President was born on native soil, this column says, “not conclusive.”

Maybe the monkey’s name was Fred. Or the doctor was bribed not to document the real sire.

This column demands more proof. Long forms. Short forms. And while we are at it: school transcripts, the most recent passport and a copy of Trump’s library card. Also, let's watch how he eats a banana.

Donald, by the way, this column doesn’t think Maher will be giving you anything.

Except more jokes are your expense. Because this latest publicity stunt by clearly a deranged and egomaniacal man has just given a comic a blank check.
