This Saturday, comedian Donald Glover will be taking the Gordon Field House stage at RIT. The popular actor/writer is probably best known for his work as Troy in the critically acclaimed sitcom "Community". Glover gained attention for writing and sometimes starring in popular web shorts featuring his sketch comedy group 'Derrick Comedy'. He was then hired as a writer for the highly successful sitcom, "30 Rock". It only went uphill from there as he nabbed a key part in the aforementioned "Community", as well as several stand-up specials. In addition to television, Glover wrote and starred in the underrated comedy film, Mystery Team (2009). Not to mention a side career as a rapper, where he performs under the name "Childish Gambino".
Fans will be hoping he brings his charisma and trademark witty humor to deliver a great show in Rochester this weekend.
Tickets are still available at Gordon Field House to purchase. Tickets will be $11 for RIT students, $21 for faculty, and $31 for the general public.
