Don't update your Kindle app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

This just in: according to a Feb. 27 report in “Cult of Mac”, Amazon has just announced that there is a major flaw with the 3.6.1 Kindle update for iOS that it just released. If you hit update it will delete your entire library of books!

In the words of Amazon:

“Note: There is a known issue with this update. If you are an existing Kindle for iOS user, we recommend you don't install this update at this time. “

If you are unfamiliar with the Kindle app for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, it gives users the ability to purchase Kindle books, newspapers, magazines, textbook and more from the Amazon store.
