Without a warning, ABC network has pulled the comedy “Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23” from its schedule effective immediately, this according to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Replacing the time slot will be double episodes of “Happy Endings” beginning this coming Tuesday, Jan. 29 and extending through March 19.
According to the source, “No decision has been made on when or where the eight unaired episodes of ‘Apt. 23’ will land.” So while ABC’s network reps didn’t state that “Apartment 23” is officially cancelled, the comedy is left with eight unaired episodes from its 19 episode second season and there are no plans for them to air. Plans for the return of “Apartment 23” are always a possibility, but with its history of mediocre to low ratings, the possibility is slim.
“Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23” stars Krysten Ritter, Dreama Walker, and James Van Der Beek.
“Happy Endings” stars Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, and Zachary Knighton.
