2012 Family History Jamboree – Dayton, Ohio

This free family history event is sponsored by the Dayton Ohio Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While this event is intended to promote genealogical research among church members the public is openly and warmly invited. Workshops will cover topics suited for researchers of all skill levels, so this is a great event for beginners as well as those with advanced skills.

2012 National Genealogical Society Conference – Cincinnati, Ohio

Learn and research in Cincinnati! The National Genealogical Society’s annual conference comes to the Duke Energy Center in May 2012. Special events and programming will offer educational workshops as well as special research opportunities, networking events, and social activities as well as a special Youth Kamp. The NGS website offers wonderful tips and hints for those attending. This conference is a wonderful chance for the professional and the hobbyist to learn and research side by side.
2012 Ohio Genealogical Society Summer Workshop – Bellville, Ohio

Experience in-depth and specific research training within the walls of the Ohio Genealogical Society library! Members and non-members alike are given the opportunity to learn about specialized subjects such as the Old Northwest Territory and westward migration from Ohio.
