Don't miss the HUGE online computer sale at Walmart.com TODAY (July 26)

Walmart has always been a survivor.  And Walmart is taking advantage of the financial crisis to deliver a blow to competition.  For us consumers, this is great news.  In breaking news, Walmart has just announced that it has slashed prices on its notebooks and is offering some incredible deals that are available online (or at stores).   For instance a Compaq notebook with 3GB of memory is only $298, the Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM offers a 160GB hard drive, CD/DVD drive, and Windows Vista preinstalled. Beginning July 26 (today) at 8 a.m, go to Walmart.com or the stores.  This deal won't last long.  Also available July 26 is the popular Acer 15.6-inch AS5810-4657, with a $50 price drop to $548. It comes preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premium (which also qualifies for a free Windows 7 upgrade), 3GB of memory, a 320GB hard drive, and a claimed 8-hour battery life. Its Intel Display Power Savings Technology reduces backlighting, making this laptop up to 40 percent more efficient than the typical laptop. The store is selling a Kodak All-in-One color printer for $89, a Linksys Wireless Router for under $54, and a laptop podium in various colors for $19.  You can use Walmart's Site-to-Store pickup, with no shipping charges.
