Don't miss the 16th Annual CT Craft Beer Festival!

Looking for the perfect way to cap off American Craft Beer Week (May 17-23, 2010)? Why not take a trip up to Naugatuck, CT and join us for the 16th Annual Connecticut Craft Beer Festival on May 22, 2010?

This year, the festival will be offering over 135 beers from 40 American craft brewers. There will be two bands providing live music, and food will be available for sale by the hosting restaurant, Jesse Camille's. I won't bore you with the complete list of participating breweries, but suffice to say, it is an impressive roster. A few of my personal favorites will be there, including Dogfish Head (DE), Blue Point (NY), Brooklyn Brewery (NY), Thomas Hooker (CT), Shipyard (ME), Magic Hat (VT), Harpoon (MA), and relative newcomer Captain Lawrence (NY).

Tickets are very reasonably priced: $30 in advance (www.etix.com or at Mountview Plaza Wines & Liquors) or $35 at the door. The event starts at 5:00PM and will go until 8:30PM.

If you can pass up this star-studded brewery list, great beer-for-buck ratio, and chance to support local craft brewers, you need to go get your head examined, because you are not a beer lover.
