Don't miss huge toy sales in January

Photo by Liv LaneNow that it's mid-January, many toy stores are clearing out holiday inventory with major sales, making room for spring arrivals. This week is prime time for grabbing deals.

From Jan. 20 - 23, Kiddywampus in St. Louis Park is marking down lots of popular products for 35 - 75% off. Kiddywampus specializes in creative, artistic, whimsical toys; although they have an online shop, the sale is only happening in-store.

Creative Kidstuff has bought Toy World's two stores in the western suburbs - and that means big savings opportunities for you! The Wayzata store will become Creative Kidstuff's eighth location, but the Chanhassen store is closing. Right now, all merchandise there is 50% off through Jan. 31st.

Meanwhile, big box retailer Toys R Us is also having a week-long sale. Be sure to stop by the battery section, since Duracell AA and AAA batteries - required for countless kids' toys - are available for 35% off this week.
