Don’t miss a Purrr-formance of Cats while it is in San Diego!

The most famous musical about felines ever is making its appearance in San Diego next week.  Cats comes to the San Diego Civic Theatre from January 10th – 15th!  Come experience this loved family musical, whether this is your first or a repeated viewing, it is always something to experience!

Cats comes with an impressive pedigree, it is based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, and has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.  Over the course of its run Cats has won seven 1983 Tony ® Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Lighting and Best Costumes.  The story follows a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as the "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.  Along the way the audience is introduced to many cats and their personality quirks including the wise Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella, The Glamour Cat,and the villainous Macavity!
