Tonight is a new Lifetime movie and this time it stars Whoopi Goldberg. On Saturday, We Love Soaps shared about the movie called "A Day Late and a Dollar Short." This is really not what most fans would consider a typical Lifetime movie but it is going to be a good one.

This movie is based on a book that was written by Terry McMillan. It is all about a mother who has to help her family through their problems. This family is pretty dysfunctional and it will make for an interesting movie. It has a large plot and is a lot to put into just two hours of television.

Whoopi will play a character named Viola Price. She is sick and finds out that her asthma could kill her. She wants to fix it all before she leaves the world. She will be doing all that she can to make sure everything is right, but of course her family won't make that easy on her. Viola won't tell her family the truth right away though and they are not happy about it. Once they find out they have to find a way to make the rest of her life great.

Los Angeles Times shared a review of this movie before it had actually aired. They shared that this movie has so much plot to it that it easily could have been a mini-series, but instead it is all in just two hours of television. It shows what a great actress Whoopi is and it sounds like she really makes the movie. You can't help but sympathize with her. This movie is not suitable for kids under the age of 14 because of a bit of the content.

"A Day Late and a Dollar Short" will air tonight on Lifetime. It will be at 7 p.m. CST in the Oklahoma City area. It will air again if you miss the first airing.
