Don't like Facebook's Timeline? There's a solution!

Just as we are nearing the deadline for Facebook members to fully convert to Timeline, an enterprising website says they can disable it and retain current look of your profile page. Many of the 800+ million members have resisted to the transition and less than 10% of my Facebook friends are using Timeline so there appears to be a niche for disabling

If you don’t want to wait to see if there is a last minute decision by Facebook management, then I suggest you check out TimeLineRemove.com. Currently, plug in is only compatible with Google Chrome or Firefox browswers so if either one is your browser of choice, you can still enjoy your current configuration on Facebook. Apparently a plug in for Apple’s Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer is in the works although it’s not known when they’ll be available.

The website offers little information beyond that, but from what I gather it works with one caveat. While you are able to see your current configuration, your friends will still see the Timeline version unless they also download the plug in for their browser.

Thus far, Facebook has made no attempts to block this plug in and there’s no indication they will. Please stay tuned for further developments!
