Don't let your dog eat the following foods or plants that are toxic to your pet

Too many people in Sacramento bring their dogs to outdoor cafes and then feed their dog leftover scraps varying from tomato sauce and pasta to bread, eggs, or pastries. But some people foods are toxic to dogs as are some holiday plants that dogs can munch on as their busy handlers chat at some Sacramento outdoor cafes or food markets that allow dogs to sit at outside tables. Also many people don't realize that foods containing onions, onion powder (like some commercial baby foods), raisins, and grapes are toxic to dogs.

Did you know that feeding your dog raw eggs causes the dog to not be able to absorb biotin, a B vitamin? That leads to biotin deficiency, skin disease, and loss of fur. The enzyme in raw eggs, avidin, is the culprit. Besides, after eating eggs, your dog may gas frequently.
