In an article entitled, "President's Coverage Promise Is No Keeper," the Washington Post makes it clear that President Obama's promise that you can "keep your health-care plan," is just another Obama promise you can't believe in.
According to the Post, under the Obamacare legislation written by Democrats, Obama's promise that you can keep your healthcare plan "would not necessarily be true."
The Democrats' Obamacare legislation could cause some employers to drop coverage.
That conclusion is based in part on estimates by the Congressional Budget Office and staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation that in 2016, about three million people (including spouses and dependents of workers) who are covered by an employer-provided plan "would not have an offer of coverage" under Obamacare.
In other words, the Democrats' Obamacare legislation could cause some employers to drop coverage.
These facts don't bother Obama. He continues to make his now questionable promise.

It only stands to reason that some employers will find it much cheaper to simply default to the government plan. I would think 3 million is far too low. Obama promised to not raise taxes of any kind on individuals who make less than $200k, but he raised cigarette taxes by 62 cents a pack. There are 43 million smokers in the US and the vast majority of them make less than $200k. At a minimum, I'm certain Obama will raise cigarette and alcohol taxes in order to pay for his healthcare plan. And now that we've seen him lie about taxes, I'm quite sure he'll raise all kinds of taxes that will affect everyone. The man is a fraud and he's very corrupt. He's a disgrace to our country and I can hardly wait to see him leave office. Don't believe a word he says, and the same is true for the Democratic leaders in Congress.
