Secular progressive baptized Catholics, the sad majority of dull, prodding Catholic-American ox-y-morons, want reasonably faithful, but uninformed Catholics to believe that socialism is a good and healthy way to live out their Catholicism. Yeah, right! They want us to see shared wealth, forced universal healthcare, nanny-produced handout addictions, and robbery of other people's goods--through viewing those robbed as the demonic 1%--as both socially acceptable (PC) and compatible with Catholicism.
Only one problem! The Church has already called this demonic form of governing to the proverbial carpet before!

Pope Pius XI stated boldly: "Socialism...cannot be reconciled with the teachings of the Catholic Church because its concept of society...is foreign to Christian truth."
But why, you ask?
From the mouth of a devout Socialist, Albert Schaeffle, through his definition of Socialism, come incompatible and anti-Christian components: "The Alpha and the Omega of Socialism is...the transformation of private and competing capitals into a united collective capital...the state would collect, warehouse and transport all products, and finally distribute them to individuals in proportion to their registered amount of social labor..."
In other words, Barack Obama, and his far left minions, would 'collect, warehouse and transport all products,' leaving everyday Americans with nothing! This is a system of total, and I mean total, dependence on government! 'We the People' would be clothed, fed, housed, and receive our life's sustenance 'in proportion to' our 'registered amount of social labor;' in other words, our complicity to the will of the government!

This amounts to governmental despotism, and the slavery of the American citizen!
This is why Pope Pius XI pronounced: "...Socialism and Christian Socialism are contradicting terms; no one can be at the same time a good Catholic and a true Socialist."
So the next time you meet up with a secular-progressive Catholic-Christian socialist, tell them that they are living a lie!
