As fans would naturally expect, there is a star-studded roster of guests slated to join Don Rickles on the tribute special. Jerry Seinfeld, Robert DeNiro, David Letterman, Johnny Depp, Martin Scorsese, Regis Philbin, Jon Stewart, Brian Williams, Tracy Morgan, Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey will all make appearances. There will also be some clips shown from some of Rickles' most memorable gigs in the past such as appearances including Bob Newhart, Johnny Carson and Dean Martin.

MSN notes that the Don Rickles tribute is a full 90 minutes long and it was taped at the Apollo Theater in Harlem earlier in May. It was a black-tie affair and though Rickles is said to be seated throughout, he puts his iconic style into the mix with plenty of zingers tossed out. Though the room was clearly stacked with comedic genius there in person, there are a number of pre-taped tributes shown throughout the special as well. Rickles himself will speak, and he trades his barb-filled style for a sentimental tone at one point.

By the sounds of things, the Don Rickles tribute special will definitely be an event for his fans to remember. “One Night Only: An All-Star Tribute to Don Rickles” airs Wednesday, May 28 on Spike TV.
