Don Johnson awarded $19M in 'Nash Bridges' lawsuit

Don Johnson gets $19M in lawsuit. According to an article at The Wrap, Don Johnson won a lawsuit against the company which co-produced his series, 'Nash Bridges' in 2010. However, Rysher Productions appealed the ruling, which was would have awarded Don Johnson $23 million in profits for the show, plus an additional $28.5 million in interest.

The appeal alleged "jury misconduct and that the amount of interest to which Johnson was entitled was calculated incorrectly." The jury first awarded Johnson $15, but changed the sum after saying they had miscalculated. Now, the actor has ended his lawsuit against Rysher Productions, after the company paid him $19M.

The payment was made in January, after which Don Johnson signed document bringing the dispute to a close.

"Nash Bridges" aired on CBS from 1996 to 2001.

So Don Johnson gets $19M in the lawsuit instead of $23M, plus $28.5M interest.
