This show aired from 1996-2001. Don Johnson waited to actually file a lawsuit until 2010. He said that they owed him $23 million in profits that he did not receive. That is a lot of money. It is a lot more if you add on the $28.5 million that he thought he should get in interest.
Instead Don Johnson just won $19 million in the lawsuit. That is not a small amount of money at all though. This lawsuit is now over and has come to an end.
It went to jury trial back in 2010, but it was just now settled. This was after one appeal and it could have went further, but he did sign something saying that it is over with now.
Don Johnson now has $19 million that he can do whatever he wants to with and he is probably happy that the lawsuit is over.
