Domo is one of Utah's hot new startups. The company was founded by Josh James in 2010 after he successfully sold his startup Omniture to Adobe for a cool one billion dollars.
But what does Domo have that makes it such a great company to work for? A few employees shared their thoughts on what makes Domo different.
First off, Domo offers some of the same incentives that a traditional company might, such as:
- 401k account with five percent match
- Life insurance
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
However, no startup would be complete without some really awesome benefits. AJ Wilcox, the online marketing manager, said that some of his favorite benefits were the daily, catered lunch and dinner. But don't forget about breakfast, which is also catered twice a week.
And if you get a craving for some snacks in between meals look no further than the kitchen, which is stocked with snacks, treats, fruit, and almost any kind of drink you can imagine.
But don't let all those free meals and snacks make you think that Domo doesn't care about the health of employees, because as an employee you get a complimentary gym membership.
For the tech people out there, Domo also gives employees an allowance for a tablet computer.
But perhaps the quirkiest perk at Domo is the prize for the top salesperson. He/she gets the honor of having a giant rooster.
