Actor Dominic Purcell is adding some heat to the CW comic-book drama “The Flash”. According to an exclusive report by The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, Purcell will be reuniting with his “Prison Break” co-star Wentworth Miller in the 10th episode. He will be playing a character by the name of Mick Rory who becomes the villain known as Heat Wave.

Purcell and Miller, who played brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield on “Prison Break,” will be working together again for the first time since the Fox prison drama ended in 2009. This time the pair will join forces in the DC Comics world as villains as Purcell’s fire obsessed character teams up with Leonard Smart/Captain Cold (Miller). Miller is set to make his debut in episode four. That is also when fans will hear from Purcell’s character, but will not actually see him.

The character of Heat Wave is a member of a band of villains called the Rogues, which is led by Captain Cold. Miller was cast in the role back in July and will present his fans with a different side of him as he plays the ruthless, cunning baddie who has battled the Flash in the DC comics for half a century.

Miller and Purcell aren’t the only “Prison Break” alums to be featured in “The Flash” and “Arrow” universe. Actor Robert Knepper is set to reprise his “Arrow” role of The Clock King on the new series, and Peter Stormare will play Count Vertigo on the upcoming season of “Arrow.”
