On June 26, DOMA was overturned marking a historic day for America and an emotional but great day for homosexuals. Same-sex married couples will now be able to receive the same benefits at heterosexual couples which many felt makes perfect sense -- if two people are married, they should have the same rights no matter their sexual orientation, right? Well many celebrities reacted to the news on Twitter and two gay rights advocates in particular were overjoyed with the Supreme Court's decision.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are engaged but they said that they would not get married until equal rights were recognized. In fact, Bell and Shepard agreed that it "wasn't fair" for them to get married if their gay friends could not.

Now that DOMA is dead, Kristen and Dax seem ready to move on with their own love... even though it's heterosexual. For them, it was a thing of respect and so many people respected them for their decision -- but now they may actually get married.

"@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove (sic)," Bell tweeted shortly after hearing the news. "DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead. Now let's bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!! (sic)," Dax tweeted. Needless to say it was a really happy day for so many around the country.

Are you happy that DOMA was overturned? Do you think Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard will wed soon?
