Current WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler is so confident in himself that he believes he's the best wrestler in the WWE. Ziggler feels that he should be the next wrestler to become the face of the franchise. He also declared that he will be the next WWE champion by defeating CM Punk on Sunday at the Royal Rumble PPV in St. Louis. According to a Thursday January 26th report by The Evansville Courier and Press, Dolph Ziggler made the following comments:
"I feel I'm the best wrestler right now in the WWE. I'm planning on beating CM Punk this Sunday, taking the WWE championship. And you know what? I'm going to make him give me his shirt that says 'Best in the World' afterwards, too."
Ziggler is definitely poised for a world title run this year. However, I don't think it will be until after WrestleMania 28. If I had to guess, I would say around SummerSlam give or take 1 PPV. Ziggler still has a long way to go to become the face of the WWE as John Cena is leaps and bounds above any other wrestler in terms of revenue generated. He's also the most sought after wrestler for promotional or charity appearance despite the recent success with CM Punk.
