Country superstar Dolly Parton will be celebrating parat of her 65th birthday in Chicago, to walk the red carpet of the opening of '9 to 5' at Bank of America' Theatre on January 19, 2011. Parton is supposed to walk to red carpet at about 6:45 p.m. and then to introduce opening night of the production from the stage, according to a report from the Chicago Sun-TImes.
The story of '9 to 5' is familiar to fans from the 1980s movie that starred Parton and Lily Tomlin. The stage presentation of '9 to 5' comes from multiple Grammy Award-winning songwriter Dolly Parton, the Tony Award-winning director of Wicked and the Tony-winning choreographer of In The Heights .
The Bank of America Theatre website describes '9 to 5' as a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. This all-new musical comedy based on the hit movie features the blockbuster title song plus an exciting new score of 18 original numbers by Dolly Parton that mix Broadway and pop with her signature witty lyrics.

The Dolly Parton official website invites fans to record a video of themselves singing 'Happy Birthday' to Dolly. The winner will receive a prize package, but you only have until noon to submit your entry.
