Dolly Parton has a firm policy and not going back and reliving any mistakes or bad decisions she may have made. With a deep faith in God and an attitude of always looking toward a bright horizon, Parton has proven herself to be a great singer, actress, writer and businesswoman.

However she does offer a great suggestion to helping anybody become more self-aware in overcoming life’s adversity.

“If you want to see the rainbow you need to put up with the rain,” Parton advises.

No matter how cohesive a workplace culture can be adversity is certain to visit from time to time. The entire team may focus on the rain but it just one person can remind team members of the vision of that rainbow the team will develop a new hope of success.
