Dolly Parton's 'Blue Smoke' hits #1 on Australian and New Zealand album charts

With the worldwide release of her latest record "Blue Smoke," Dolly Parton takes to the top of the all-genre album chart in New Zealand, continuing her long legacy of groundbreaking music and influence. Also, the legend's set has topped the Australian Country Album chart for four consecutive weeks and vaulted to No. 7 on the all-genre album chart.

"Blue Smoke" is expected for release in the United States on May 13.

In support of the release, Parton has been out on the road on the Blue Smoke Tour, including a slew of dates in New Zealand and Australia. The singer recently unveiled a Glastonbury Festival date to her European schedule. "I’m incredibly excited to FINALLY announce that the #BlueSmokeWorldTour is coming to @GlastoFest on June 29th!" she announced to her nearly 3 million Twitter followers.

The U.S. leg of her tour picks back up on May 22 at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, Okla., wrapping nine days later. Then, the singer-songwriter will return to her overseas ventures, performing in such countries as Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark and Sweden.
