Dolly Parton and the Labor Day anthem

Everything is changing for working women

Did you stay in bed late today? Well you should have!

This is your lucky weekend! you don't have to see your boss's face for three long days.  That's good, ah!

Being a woman...and a worker...and a mother...and wife or girlfriend....and student; it is not easy!

Women face many challenges in the work place.  Almost always a woman will find "someone" who never realized that slavery was abolished.  You are trying to make your way up, and there is that person willing to help you going down!

You know what is worse than a male boss holding you back?  A female boss! There is a special noun for those people, but we are serious here, so we won't use it.

Fortunately. women like challenges.  Do you remember that guy that never looked at you, but that was exactly the one you wanted!  And eventually, you got him!

Women comprised 46.5 percent of the total U.S. labor force; inside it, 39 percent (the largest percentage of employed women ) worked in management, professional, and related occupations.

Dolly Parton is singing here the anthem for all the working women, because we rock!
