Dolce & Gabbana are dubbed as fashion's newest billionaires

Dolce & Gabbana finally have some good news. The Italian designing duo is dubbed as fashion's newest billionaires. JustLuxe reported the shocking news on Jan. 17.

For the first time in their 28-year long career, they have officially become billionaires. Dolce is worth $2.2 billion while Gabbana is worth $2.1 billion, according to the Bloomberg News. Those figures are still not too bad for the troubled designers.

This is the first good news that they had in months. They've been on trial in Milan, Italy for tax excavation. It's reported that they refused to pay over $500 million in taxes.

They were investigated in 2004, after they sold their line to a Luxembourg-based company. The pair denied their tax inaccuracies in court.

Dolce & Gabbana are not the only billionaires in the fashion world. Tory Burch made the list, along with Marina Prada and Alberto Prada Bianchi. Bernad Arenault still stands as the tenth richest man in the world. He has an estimate net worth of $30.1 billion. Arenault is the CEO for LVMH.
