Isn’t it funny when you walk down the street and you see a person walking his/her dog? Many times it looks like they went to the same hair stylist. In fact, the dog a person owns, often times can tell you a lot about the person him/herself.
For example, a high-strung dog is often owned by a high-strung individual. A very obedient dog is often owned by a take-charge kind of person. A fun loving dog often has a fun loving owner.
Very rarely do you find breed and owner differences. Now, I do know a family who owns a Jack Russell, who by nature is a very high-strung dog personality. However an elderly black Labrador, who would not put up the Jack Russell’s relentless personality taught the Jack Russell to be calm. But, if you really think about it, the family taught the black lab to be calm so the Jack Russell, learned behavior from a family member.
I have a friend, who has a very masculine, independent personality and yet is very laid back and easy going. Is it any wonder that he owns a German shepherd and a very laid back white Husky mix? Another friend is a very independent female and her dog is a very Alpha female dog.
My dog is definitely a reflection of me. She is very loving, congenial, and loves to be touch. It’s strange how I am also very affectionate. We get along very well together. And we make friends easy.
What does your dog say about you? Are you hyper? Laid back? Do you love exercise? Do you like to make people feel welcome? If people met your dog first, would they be able to pick you out of the crowd?
Below are some famous dog owners and their dogs.

Would you be able to put them together? Our dog’s names are also very telling, don’t you think?
