Knoxville events bring travelers in and help locals have more fun. Doggie Dip is an end-of-summer bash that pet owners will appreciate.
Lifeguards will be on duty for the Doggie Dip swim. Area organizations will have booth set-up. Look for displays from the Young-Williams Animal Center, pet rescue groups and Knoxville area veterinarians.
Pet owners must be sure that their pets are vaccinated before attending Doggie Dip Day. All dogs must be on a leash and tagged. They must be under control of their owners at all times. There is a fee of $5.00 per dog and a two dog maximum will be enforced. Additional family members may attend for $3.00 each.
Free parking is available on-site. Advance registration and a waiver is required. A press release with more information is online at the website of the City of Knoxville.
