The results of a recent survey have just been released on Monday, naming Michael Vick as the NFL's most disliked player. Despite Vick's apparent good behavior and football performance, the horrendous dog-fighting ring situation seems to still be fresh on the minds of most Americans.
The poll was conducted by E-Poll Market Research, and the results determined that 53% of the 1,100 who participated in the survey disliked Michael Vick. Survey participants were 13 years of age and up, and was based on overall likability, awareness, attitude, and confidence.
The "likeability" category seems to have been the biggest downfall for Michael Vick whose involvement with grotesque dog fighting was publicized nationally. Although Vick was "rehabilitated" and released from prison a couple years ago after serving a 19 month sentence for his involvement with the dog fighting ring, apparently the majority of Americans still just don't like him.
Forbes was behind the survey and released results which also named the top ten most disliked NFL players. The list included Chicago's Jay Cutler who ranked at #6 on the most hated list with a disapproval rating of 33%.
