A dog with a human face is up for adoption in Indiana after the poodle-Shih Tzu mix was sent to a Kentucky kill shelter. According to a Feb. 6 report by Inquisitr, 'Tonik' has become famous with his uniquely human expression.
Petfnder said this about the human faced dog:
“Tonik came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky and there is a very sweet boy in there who is trying to figure things out and enjoy people. It seems he has not had too much socialization. He is great with other dogs. He is not dangerous, but should not be placed with young children because he will get too overwhelmed.”
Tonik appears to be an adorable dog and probably possesses a lot of intelligence found in humans. Some people may not necessarily want a canine that resembles a human, but there are just as many -- or more -- who would love a cute dog like Tonik. It's unclear how his name came about.
Given the exposure he's receiving on the Internet, Tonik is bound to find a good home with an owner who will give him the love he deserves.
Inquiries about adopting Tonik can be made at Petfinder.
