Dog treat drive thru locales in Westchase

Occasionally the need to grab a bite, a sip, or some cash on the go may arise. Every now and then the dog may even be picking up the rear, or riding shot gun. If this itch should arise while in the Westchase area, there are a few different dog-friendly options to provide a relief scratch.

Should you find the need for cash, or a deposit, stop by the Wells Fargo at Kirkwood and Westheimer (2464 S. Kirkwood Rd, Houston, TX 77077. 281-556-8575) and your puppy will get a treat along with you receiving your cash. The tellers inside give out bags [with dog treats inside] to account holders with dogs in the car. But, be sure they see your dog or they won’t know to give you some; don’t hesitate to roll down your window or ask the teller for the treats.

Get a boost of energy by grabbing a coffee at the Starbucks on Eldridge and Westheimer (11805 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077. 281-556-8382). While there, show off your dog to the barista(s) and they’ll hand over dog treats along with your order.

If, after running errands, your stomach is asking for a treat as well, quench its need by swinging by Raising Cane’s (12201 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077. 281-497-7907). This restaurant is named after the owners’ yellow lab that roamed the first location and loved to be around people. As time went on, Raising Cane passed away and was replaced by Raising Cane II; also a beloved yellow lab, certified in pet therapy, who spends his days traveling to different Children’s Hospital’s and restaurant locations or hanging out at the main office headquarters. Needless to say, they please both canines and humans alike at this establishment!

Although Raising Cane’s restaurants, in general, hand out dog treats to their consumers, Starbucks and Wells Fargo do not have the same corporate dog sponsorship. Check your local establishments before heading over, if you are out of the Westchase area.
