After a drunken spree in New Orleans' French Quarter, actor Nicolas Cage was bailed out of jail by reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter, posting his $11,000 bond with the NOPD over the weekend. Cage was arrested by New Orleans police officials on charges of domestic abuse battery, public drunkeness and disturbing the peace after arguing with his wife about which house in the Garden District was actually theirs.

In what Entertainment Weekly calls a "strange, sad story," Cage and his spouse Alice Kim (married since 2004) were reportedly heading home after a night on the town when Cage stopped in front of a house that he claimed was the one they were renting. According to the Associated Press, Cage's wife argued it wasn't actually theirs with spurred Cage to grab her arm and being "hitting vehicles," says the report.

Cage then attempted to flee the scene in a taxi and was stopped by an official who was trying to get him out of the cab.
