According to Sunday's New York Daily News, a dog stolen from a Dover, N.J., woman's home, by a man she had just met for a date, is back home.

Things went awry on Thursday when the man, whose name is presumed to be "Joel," took advantage of alone time inside of the woman's residence and whisked away her Yorkshire terrier "Violet," and her television.

Early Saturday morning, both the television, and the dog, were returned to the woman's front yard.

Police have indicated that they know who the man is and he may be facing charges.

According to N.J.com, anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 973-366-0302.
