Update 6/19/14: Safe!!
On June 11, a good Samaritan found a beautiful German shepherd mix in Contra Costa County, Calif., and took her to an area animal shelter.
Unfortunately, the timid, young dog did not do well in her temperament testing and her fear has resulted in her being deemed as "rescue only." Not only is the dog restricted to only a rescue organization, but her time is extremely limited...she has until Friday to be saved.
The two-year-old dog, whose name is unknown, is at the Contra Costa County Animal Services facility in Martinez - she is known there by her identification number A765639.
The good Samaritan who found her has pledged $500 to a 501(c)3 rescue organization who is able to pull the dog to safety. Please take a moment to network this frightened dog's information.
