Dog paralyzed after being hit by car, needs a new home

Update 5/23/14: Adopted!!

In February, a handsome German shepherd was brought to the Stark County Humane Society in Ohio after being struck by a van.

The impact left the dog, dubbed "Caesar," paralyzed in his rear legs. As is the case with so many dogs, the new disability did little to change Caesar's zest for life. After months of recuperation, this handsome boy has been fitted with his own wheelchair and he now waits for someone to call him their own.

A volunteer at the humane society reached out to the National Dog News Examiner with a plea for help, stating:

He's very friendly and upbeat despite having to pull himself around with his front legs only. I am submitting this in hopes that it could get him some networking as I am afraid no one will take on this challenge.

Please take a moment to network on behalf of this lovely dog - he deserves to be in a home with a person of his very own.
