Greenville, South Carolina – Pit Bull Terrier puppy was dragged by truck.

According to wfsb.com, the one year old, female dog was dragged behind an older model, white, Ford truck around Wildwood Road and Geer Highway in Marietta.

She has some significant soft-tissue injuries mainly on the skin," Dr. Brandon Adley said. He's an associate veterinarian with Upstate Veterinary Specialists.

Adley said despite the dog's injuries, the puppy is perky.

"She's had one surgery, and she's had a blood transfusion," Adley said.

Members with the group Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR) set up a Facebook page in hopes of tips that could track down the dog dragger.

In addition, they are “offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case. If you have information call Greenville Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.”
