Dog Goes Missing After Fatal Car Accident on Long Island, NY

Donna Sartori, of Middle Island, NY was killed in a fatal accident earlier today when her parked car was struck by a drunk driver’s on the Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, just west of Ponquogue Avenue, and her family is now desperately searching for her two-year-old Shih-Tzu who got away, reports the Westhampton Patch.

BamBam is a black and white little dog (similar to the one pictured, although his hair is currently short) and he is believed to have run away from the scene of the tragic crash. Sartoti’s cousin, Dorreen Obiedzenski told the online magazine, "Donna would want to know her dog was home safe with her family. If we can find him, it will bring a small bit of comfort everyone. She didn't have any children so he was her baby. She loved her dog and my cousin would be more worried about him than herself.”
