Although she only made it as far as Delaware, Fallon has traveled further than most people. She spent several years at the VAFA dog shelter in Iran where she was housed with 350+ dogs. But what makes Fallon's story especially unique is that she has a physical disability.
She was found missing part of her leg while still living on the streets of an Iranian town. She also had a litter of five puppies she was caring for.
Fallon is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix about six years old, spayed and up to date on her shots. She is fully housebroken, crate trained and loves other dogs while learning how to get along with cats. Although she has never been around children, she loves everyone she meets.
Fallon does have difficulty managing smooth surfaces, so she might do better in a home without stairs and with carpeting or area rugs.
Her foster family says that she is very smart and funny and that she will have you laughing out loud each day with her antics.
The rescue volunteers with Faithful Friends Animal Society are willing to fly Fallon anywhere in the US for the right family.
