Maryland State Police are searching for a woman who disappeared over the weekend in Stevensville, Md.

Also missing from Pope's home was the family dog, an 11-year-old Great Dane.
The missing dog was located on Saturday, tragically, not alive. The dog, who was found not far from Pope's home, was dead in the water.
According to WBAL News, search crews are combing the water and shore near the area that the dog's body was found.
A necropsy is being performed on the dog to determine exactly what caused her death.
