Dog drenched in oil, bloody from scratching, blind from infection needs help

It's absolutely heartbreaking to think this can happen to a dog. But according to Kelley Blair of Upstate Animal Rescue, this beautiful girl was found wandering as a stray in Oconee County, S.C. on Tuesday, February 25th. She appears to have been drenched in motor oil. She has scratched herself so badly that she has blood dripping from she has blood dripping from her head and neck. She is blind from infection. She has no hair and is nearly starved to death.

This poor dog needs help. Once her infection has been treated, her vision should return. With proper nutrition and care, she can regain her health.

Fortunately Kelley Blair and Upstate Animal Rescue of South Carolina have stepped up to get this dog the medical attention she desperately needs. Upstate Animal Rescue, a 501c3 corporation, is requesting tax deductible contributions to help with her vet bills.
