On Saturday, the Firehouse published a story, complete with photo, which effectively captures a mother's love.
In the photo, a German shepherd mix named "Amanda," is tenderly depositing her tiny puppies onto a fire truck.
The scene was captured on Thursday, the day that a fire ravaged Amanda's home in Temuco, Chile, following an apparent car bomb explosion.
The intuitive mother somehow knew that the fire truck meant safety for her five 10-day-old pups.
Witnesses watched Amanda run back and forth between the burning house and the truck, carefully placing her babies one by one, onto the truck, away from danger.
According to the report, Amanda's efforts are credited for saving four of the five puppies. Sadly, one of the five pups was too severely burned to survive - dying the day after the fire.
